NO! I do inkjet transfers and I can say for sure the picture will fade, but not run . Do yourself a favor and wash on warm or cold for best results. Never HOT !InkJet T-Shirt transfers...does the ink bleed all over T-Shirt when washed in washing machine??

The transfer papers (i.e. inkjet transfer paper, laser printer) are made specific to the type of printer you use so the ink adheres to the paper. Should not bleed if you print from your inkjet and if you're using the correct type. When you buy paper, it should also give you instructions on how to use them.
I bought inkjet transfer paper from www.t-shirtproducts.com and they rock! I even ironed on to white t-shirts and they didnt bleed at all! Paper is high-quality and cheap too. I've tried paper from the store (HP) and they suck because the ink faded after just 1 wash!

There is one sure way to find out. Wash it with an old towel only,
