With inkjet images, you can expect to run into ink bleed. One way to try to avoid this is to coat the printed surface with Elmer鈥檚 or other PVA glue.





Dilute with a little bit of water so it goes on smoothly. This will seal any ink....from inkjet or even magazines.





This method doesn't always work, so an alternative is to take your image to an office center and have it color copied or printed with a color laser. This type of print tends to run less.





If you want to use different type sealers, you have to make sure each coat dries completely before adding another. This can sometimes take weeks.





Modge Podge or other PVA glues are generally used to seal the decoupage, If you want to make a waterproof finish polyurethane is a good choice and it can be sprayed on.
