I just added ink to my inkjet printer's ink cartage but it still wont print is ther anything I can do?

If you were not getting a good quality print out of the cartridges before filling it than there is really no point in adding more ink.

If you have a new HP, then your printer has a memory and will not recognize the new cartridge as being full no matter how much ink you put in.

If that is the case than chances are that you print head is dry, clogged or even fused.

You can try running several print head cleanings to remedy dryness, or even soaking the print head in BLUE Windex if you have an HP LEXMARK or DELL. O for a couple minutes can help loosen a dry or clogged print head.I just added ink to my inkjet printer's ink cartage but it still wont print is ther anything I can do?
The ink in the nozzles could have hardened up, and blocked the nozzles. Go through your printer's set up instructions, and see if there isn't some procedure to clear the nozzles. There usually is.I just added ink to my inkjet printer's ink cartage but it still wont print is ther anything I can do?
Did you pull that little paper tape off first? My Mom did that once and I had to go all the way out to her house to figure it out for her.

OH....did you install a new cartridge or just add ink to the old one. I hear that those ';filler'; kits aren't really worth the money, so that may (or may not) be it.
Dab the cartridge on a piece of paper or napkin or something and see if any ink is coming out. If it is, then see if you can find the cleaning utilities for your printer. If you know ink is in there and you can't get any drops to show up on, then the nozzles might be completely clogged. If that is the case, you can try soaking the cartridge.

This works if you have an HP, Lexmark or Dell cartridge, but it won't work for Epson or Canon.
Do you have two ink cartridges in your printer (one for color and the other for black). Make sure you keep both cartridges in, not having them on causes a printer to mal-function. Sometimes if you have your settings to color but only have a black ink cartridge install it will not print, then again it may print the image black. If you have the color cartridge refilled and the black is empty and your printing settings are set to black and white printing, it will not print.
I've found that before you install the cartridge (after removing the clear tape that covers the ink source), you should leave the cartridge standing upright for several hours so that the ink will start downward.

Hope that helps
check and see if you put it in the rite way. Make sure that you have the rite ink for your printer. If all elce fails buy a new one:)
check the stickers on the underneath of the cartaridge are off and have you printe test page some printers need to align themselfs
