I just want an inkjet printer for occasional use-which is the best in terms of cheap ink cartridges?

megatoners.com has cheap/compatible ink for most ALL printers. if you find a printer you like, before buying check out the site just to see if they have what you are in need of. i have bought from them before, while it is not name brand it is good ink and worked just as well as name brand and a fraction of the cost.

OR this place here. they seem to be a little newer and smaller company but they had ink cheapest for my brand new Epson...and very personable ppl for communication. i emailed with a question and i got a very prompt response and from a real person...lol..

that place is www.usainktank.com

for info.... email info@usainktank.com the womans name is Margie. she was great in helping me out.I just want an inkjet printer for occasional use-which is the best in terms of cheap ink cartridges?
Canon have a reputation for cheap consumables. Avoid HP and Lexmark, as their cartridges contain an integral printhead, so are very expensive.I just want an inkjet printer for occasional use-which is the best in terms of cheap ink cartridges?
I can tell you one NOT to buy: A Lexmark series 2690. You can only get the cartridges on-line from the manufacturer.
Epsom are quite good although they are not as good as the hewlett packard for printing photos so depends on what occasional use means
Here is a pretty good list of printers: http://www.castleink.com/_Top10InkjetPri鈥?/a>

I'd recommend sticking with Canon or Epson if you are trying to keep cartridge costs down.
