1. Locate change the date on your computer and reset the printer. It has a battery like a CMOS batter on the inside, however, if you can get to it your are very flexible.


2. Replace the chip on your cartridge, they cost about 3-10 per chip.

You cannot. HP has a smart chip in there which interferes with the software of the printer when it reaches it's expiration date.





The only way to resolve this issue is to unfortunately replace the cartridge.
